Dr. David R. Hardoon is the Chief Executive Officer of Aboitiz Data Innovation. He wears several other hats within the Aboitiz Group serving as the Group’s Chief Data and Innovation Officer, Chief Data and AI Officer of Union Bank of the Philippines, and Chief Data Officer of UnionDigital Bank.

Prior to his current roles, David was the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS)’s first appointed Chief Data Officer and Head of Data Analytics Group reporting to the agency’s Deputy Managing Director for Financial Supervision and subsequently Special Advisor for Artificial Intelligence reporting to Deputy Managing Director for Markets and Development. In these roles, he led the development of the AI strategy both for MAS and Singapore’s financial sector as well as driving efforts in promoting open cross-border data flows.

David holds a PhD in Computer Science in the field of Machine Learning from the University of Southampton and graduated from Royal Holloway, University of London with First Class Honors B.Sc. in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence.

Alvin Ng is the Chief Operating Officer for Smart Cities of Aboitiz Data Innovation (ADI). Alvin will play a key role in continuing the advancement of ADI’s mission to drive the adoption of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence tools and solutions around smart cities.

Alvin has over 25 years of experience in global sales and product management and has held a series of senior global leadership roles with multinational companies like Wincor Nixdorf AG, Cisco Systems and Rosenbluth International. Prior to joining Johnson Controls, he worked for General Electric as the General Manager for GE Digital, Asia. He was the Vice President of Digital Solutions, APAC, Johnson Controls. In this position, he was responsible for driving the digital and sustainability growth strategy for the Asia Pacific region.

With his extensive experience and passion for digital transformation and sustainability, Alvin serves as an Adjunct Associate Professor, at Nanyang Business School, Nanyang Technological University. In addition to his role as the Industry-Faculty lead for ‘Business Consulting’ and ‘Leader as a Coach’ programs for the MBA School, he teaches Digital Transformation, AI for business, Internet of Things and Sustainability leadership programs. He also plays the role of Senior Career Fellow as an executive coach to the Global Executive MBA students.

Alvin graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering from Singapore’s Nanyang Technological University, majoring in Mechanical Engineering.

As Aboitiz Data Innovation (ADI)’s Chief Operating Officer for Financial Services, Guy will play a key role in continuing the advancement of ADI’s mission to drive the adoption of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence tools and solutions that can help reduce operational cost, drive effectiveness within financial crime processes, collections, alternate lending, data sharing processes, and ultimately accelerate more inclusive financing.

Guy has over 16 years of experience in Financial Crime, Cyber and Fraud having recently led Financial Crime commercial and markets teams for SWIFT in the Americas, UK and the Asia Pacific over the last 7 years. In his career, he has worked for Bankers Almanac (now Accuity), Wolters Kluwer Financial Services, LexisNexis and with the Metropolitan Police Terrorist Finance Investigations Unit on a Joint Venture. As a recognized domain expert and speaker in Due Diligence, Fraud, Cyber and Sanctions technology assurance, he is also an active individual in the community, having held various positions such as being a former member of the Singapore FinTech Association's RegTech sub-committee and Course Director for the Wealth Management Institute's InfoSec Central Bank training programme.

Guy graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Medieval Literature from the University of Exeter and holds a Master of Arts in Marketing from Kingston University.

As Aboitiz Data Innovation (ADI) Chief Operating Officer for Power and Aboitiz Power Corporation (AboitizPower) Chief Data Officer, Luis focuses on expanding the development and implementation of Data Science & AI solutions for AboitizPower in support of enhancing operational efficiency, revenue generation, risk management, and ESG initiatives.

Luis has 24 years of experience in leading and developing AI Solutions, Enterprise Software and Digital Transformation of industrial enterprises. He has been involved with over 50 customers in Asia Pacific, North & South America, Europe and the Middle East. He is co-founder of the AI Asia Pacific Institute, a non for profit research institute for the Ethical Deployment of Learning Algorithms in society. He is also a Guest Lecturer at Nanyang Technological University MBA Program and under the Kellogg and Harvard Data Science Programs at Emeritus Platform. Luis sits in the advisory board of different startups that apply Machine Learning in NFTs, social media, education and neuroscience.

Prior to joining ADI, Luis was the Managing Director of Element AI Asia, a Canadian Deep Learning startup. He was also Vice President & Chief Customer Success at GE Digital responsible for the delivery and execution of all GE Digital projects across Power, Aviation, O&G and Transportation. He was previously the GE Power Chief Digital Officer responsible for Power Digital PNL in Asia.

Luis holds a bachelor’s degree in International Business and Computer Science from the University of Victoria and a postgraduate degree in Software Engineering from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He has also earned postgraduate diplomas in Machine & Deep Learning, Data Science, Internet of Things, and Smart Manufacturing at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Felicia Li-Gaillard is the Chief Marketing Officer at Aboitiz Data Innovation (ADI). With over 16 years of B2B marketing experience across media agencies, ad tech start-ups, and big tech, Felicia is a recognized leader and strategist with a long history of marketing leadership and numerous accomplishments.

Formerly the Head of APAC Marketing for Facebook Gaming and Audience Network at Meta, Felicia led the integrated marketing and go-to-market strategy across the region. She was also Head of Marketing, APAC at MoPub, a mobile advertising business unit at Twitter. As a marketing director, she helped ad tech start-ups Eyeota and Integral Ad Science (IAS) build their regional marketing function, supporting the companies’ ambitious growth.

An inclusive leader and connector, Felicia holds a Masters’ degree in business from EDHEC Business School.

Nicolas Paris is the Chief Data & Technology Officer of Aboitiz Data Innovation (ADI) and the Head of Data & Technology of Union Bank of the Philippines’ (UnionBank) Data Science and AI Unit. He plays a critical role in advancing ADI and UnionBank’s move towards operationalizing their Data Science and Artificial Intelligence products.

Nicolas has over 18 years of experience in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Software Engineering, having recently built a state-of-the-art cloud data platform in a startup. He guides his teams in solving all the pain points that come with using Machine Learning (ML) to drive business outcomes, setting best practices for successful ML projects, and bringing his product mindset to Data Science. Previously, Nicolas was Chief Technology Officer at Healint, a Healthtech startup, where he and his teams created ML models helping millions of chronic patients improve their quality of life.

Nicolas has Masters in Advanced Finance and Business Administration & Management from IE Business School and ESSCA Ecole de management, respectively.

Dr. Adrienne Heinrich heads the AI and Innovation Center of Excellence at Aboitiz Data Innovation (ADI) and at Union Bank of the Philippines (UnionBank). Before that, Adrienne led AI and Machine Learning for personal health and connected care products at Royal Philips.

Adrienne received her Master’s degree in Information Technology and Electrical Engineering at the ETH in Zurich, Switzerland, and subsequently joined Philips Research in 2006. She obtained her PhD degree at the Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands in 2015.

Calvin is Head of People and Talent at ADI. He is passionate about building progressive people practices in organizations, diversity and inclusion, the future of work, and creating a culture that attracts and inspires talents.

He is experienced in developing and implementing organizational development projects and strategic initiatives which augments value creation for companies. Calvin is knowledgeable in current trends and emerging challenges in relation to human resources which may potentially impact overall business strategies. He is adept in organizational change management, talent and performance management, enterprise risk management, human resource analytics, and strategic workforce planning.

Dr. Jayarethanam Pillai (Jaya) has international work experience in providing program management, business turnaround for global companies and government agencies alike for the last 15 years, specializing in developing strategic decisions. Jaya has done over 5 turnaround business projects and widely published papers in economic policy, digital transformation, HR analytics, business turnaround and entrepreneurship while working and living in 11 international cities / states.

Jaya is a leader to drive business turnaround. He partners with stakeholders to provide deep-dive analysis to change stakeholders to drive business partnerships and revenue growth. He publishes widely on various economic research and is a regular consultant for the ADB and UNDP. He creates new turnaround business strategies. Jaya obtained his Ph.D. in Public Policy and Economics.

He has expert level advisory experience economic and policy on data analytics, particularly in ramping 5X - 10X revenue and funding strategies, in embedded analytical operation system specifically in panel data and supervised and unsupervised machine learning. In addition, Jaya is ardent believer of continuous learning and sharing. He is a team builder and mentor, as seen from his many years of top management undertakings and administrative experience, in both private and public sectors.

Jesica is a seasoned privacy professional with over ten years of experience in various industries, including banking, IT consultancy, government service, think tank, and academe. She has been at the forefront of shaping and implementing privacy policies and practices that comply with local and international laws, regulations, and best practices. She has led privacy initiatives in the top digital bank in the Philippines, ensuring that customer data are secured and protected.

Jesica obtained her bachelor’s degree and took her post graduate degree specializing in Strategic Planning and Public Policy from the University of the Philippines Los Baños. She is a PECB Certified ISO/IEC 27701 Lead Implementer, PECB Certified in ISO/IEC 27001 FDN, and a Certified DPO ACE by the Philippine National Privacy Commission. She is an active member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and Women in Security Alliance of the Philippines (WiSAP).

Marlita Villacampa is the First Vice President of Aboitiz Equity Ventures (AEV) handling controllership of AEV and AEV managed Companies including Aboitiz Data Innovation. She shares with ADI her 25 years of experience with the Aboitiz group. Prior to joining the Aboitiz Group, she gained her auditing experience from Ernest and Young, one of the Big 4 in the audit industry.

She leads the accounting operations & services team handling transactional accounting, compliance to finance and tax audit, creation of policies and controls, business support for M&A due diligence, education on accounting standards and digitization of accounting processes.

Marlita received her Master's Degree in Business and Administration with Honors at Ateneo De Manila under the Regis Program. She is a Certified Public Accountant.

Michael is a 20+ year Financial Services and Fintech professional with deep experience working with C-Suite level management and Board of Directors at financial institutions in the United States.

Michael spent 13+ years at Sandler O’Neill and Partners, LP (now PIPR) in New York City and San Francisco, CA. While at Sandler, Michael focused his efforts in the areas of M&A Strategy, Capital Management, Investment Portfolio Management and Balance Sheet/Interest Rate Risk analysis. After Sandler O’Neill, Michael was a Managing Partner at Bannockburn Global F/X where he was responsible for building and managing the day to day sales activities and key partnerships of Bannockburn’s FIG.

Michael received his degree from The E. Claiborne Robins School of Business, University of Richmond, Richmond, Virginia, USA.

Riyang is ADI’s lead behavioral scientist with 15+ years experience covering consulting, government, and academic projects in Singapore, Philippines, US, and parts of Central Asia and Eastern Europe. He advocates evidence-based approaches to behavioral interventions and leverages techniques from computational social simulation, NLP, psychological assessments, FGDs and interviews to gain insights about human behavior and norms emergence. He publishes and presents at international conferences and is versed in the domains of performance management, workplace fairness, and total rewards. He is a SIOP-registered industrial-organizational psychologist, BPS and GRP certified, and holds a PhD and First Class Honors from Nanyang Technological University.

Sri Chavali leads the Project Management Office at Aboitiz Data Innovation (ADI). Sri has started career in Singapore as a Software Developer. She gained vast experience of 18 years in IT Business Analysis & IT Project Management after working on challenging projects with various domains like Banking & Finance, Healthcare & Pharma, Singapore Government, Telecommunications etc. Sri graduated in Commerce & Economics followed by Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications.

Song Yikun is a highly skilled data engineer with an Honors Degree in Business Analytics from National University of Singapore. With a passion for bringing order to the chaotic data world, he has over 5 years of experience working in startups of various sizes. Song has a proven track record of building successful data platforms that empower data-driven decision making and efficient data management. As a leader, he has guided technical teams of various sizes and mentored aspiring engineers in this emerging field. Committed to staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in the data engineering industry, he is eager to drive innovation and achieve new heights of success.

Zeeshan is a highly skilled software lead with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and 10 years of experience in the industry. He has extensive knowledge in software engineering principles, and has proven track records of delivering high-performance software solutions. With past experiences in both health tech and banking companies, Zeeshan understands the needs of different industries and is capable of designing and implementing software systems that meet specific requirements. His expertise in software development has contributed to his reputation as a respected leader and valuable asset to any organization.
