Victorias LGU, Aboitiz link for Smart City masterplan


Victorias City Government is laying the groundwork for its future Smart City with the newly forged alliance with Aboitiz Data Innovation (ADI), a data science and artificial intelligence company.

Mayor Javier Miguel Benitez led the ceremonial contract signing for the Scope Of Work Proposal for the Smart City Master Plan with ADI Public Sector Head Carlos Streegan, Sept. 28.

The partnership shall offer streamlined operations, improved governance, and upgraded public services through data-driven decision-making.

Hence, ADI is committed to providing transformative AI consulting, data-driven IoT (Internet of Things), and sustainable solutions.

Smart co-working spaces, waste management, and mobile telemedicine clinics are enclosed in the economic growth roadmap of the Scope of Work Proposal.

Vice Mayor Abelardo Bantug III joined the ceremonial signing with Councilors Dino Acuña, Hermie Millan, Warlito Undar, and Richard Julius Sablan.

City Administrator Atty. Lindolf De Castro and department heads were also present during the ceremony.(PR)
