Measuring the compressive strength of cement is a crucial step in the basis of acceptance of cement in concrete mixes. Through Republic Cement’s collaboration with ADI, we were able to revolutionize the way cement is produced. By using a predictive modeling tool, we were able to optimize the traditional cement manufacturing process. What would typically take 28 days of curing time was simplified instantaneously, all while ensuring product quality, through the power of Data Science and AI.
Most importantly, this solution effectively reduced carbon emissions in the cement manufacturing process by approximately 35,000 tCO2e annually. This is equivalent to greenhouse gas emissions from almost 140 MILLION kilometers driven by an average gasoline-powered passenger vehicle!
